My son turned me onto the game (he's 22). Im a race sim guy, but I think halo is a great game. It has the potential to be a great military/war/battle stratigy game/simulator (if played in that capacity). My peeves about the game are TKers, botters and the mindless name calling (I guess the average age of the players account for that). Other than that.. its a blast game. I dont usualy have the highest kill rate.. but Im a stratigist and a scorer. Im also a team player and regard 'team' play as the key to winning the game (in ctf). In slayer Im a mid packer. But I dont care about being a 'top dog' in the clan. I just like playing and dont mind wearing the tag. After all.. the more people that wear the tag.. the better promoted the clan gets. But I also expect to earn my keep. Simply cuz.. being a shoddy player does nothing in promoting a team/clan and can damage the team/clan to the point where it will be regarded as extremely non-elite outfit. Most undesirable.
My name Riff comes from the fact that Im a musician (rock, alt, metal), and Im also a programmer (c, c++, assembler, pascal, basic, logo), electronic technician, and ex motocross racer (best finish: 6th place in a 250cc california amature championship).
Thanks for askin me aboard Dyllan. I downloaded xfire as I wrote this and will check in later this afternoon to read the rest of the posts and see whats shakin. Laterz gatorz.
